Appreciation for Your Support

We would like to express our deep appreciation for the support of our community. As a privately funded start-up museum, we do not have access to government funding to keep our mission going. However, your contributions as a sponsor, donor, blog reader or founding member have made a significant impact in helping us achieve our goals. It is through the support of our creative community that we are able to fund our mission and continue to share our passion for the history of couture patterns with the world. Thank you for your continued support.

What a wonderful new forum for new information and collective idea sharing!

Welcome to the community

Welcome! This is a newly established insider forum within the Couture Pattern Museum for site members only. You must sign up as a member and log in with your email, Google, or Facebook to exclusively access the Forum and view the Database.

I want to welcome you to our newly established member community and hope you post, share, and frequently interact with other like-minded couture pattern members.

You can set your profile to public or private. This may sound a bit confusing. A public profile allows you to read and interact with others within this exclusive space. Even though your profile may be set to public, your activities will not be searchable in the public domain but only available to others within this space who have also signed up to be a member of our online Couture forum. You can change your profile settings at any time.

Your support makes a difference! Couture Pattern Museum is fiscally sponsored by Creative Visions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports creative activists, those that use the arts and media to ignite social change. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Couture Pattern Museum (CPM) must be made payable to “Creative Visions” only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Donations received will be used in accordance with the mission and operations of Couture Pattern Museum under the careful oversight and approval of our Fiscal Sponsor, Creative Visions. We strictly adhere to all applicable laws, grant terms, and foundation requirements in the management and application of these funds. Your generous contributions not only support our ongoing efforts to preserve and promote the lost story of the democratization of couture patterns, but they also reinforce our commitment to transparency, accountability, and the highest standards of fiscal responsibility. We deeply appreciate your trust and support in our work.
