SPECIAL SANTA BARBARA EXHIBITIONS & EVENTS

Our museum goes beyond preserving patterns; we leverage these unique artifacts to celebrate the artistry and glamour of the Golden Age of Couture and Hollywood through a variety of engaging exhibits and events. From special presentations like Coronation Couture, Audrey Hepburn photography exhibit, to exclusive book signings, such as "Balenciaga — Through the Lens of Tom Kublin," we bring the stories of fashion's most iconic moments and figures to life. Our programs are designed to engage and inspire visitors, even for those who do not sew, offering you unique opportunities and insights to experience the magic of fashion history firsthand. In addition to our extensive pattern collection, you’ll find original photographs, croquis de la maison, authentic haute couture dresses identical to those in major museum collections for examination and study, as well as counter books, magazines, fabric sample books, and rare French couture teaching materials that vividly bring the past to life. You may explore upcoming events here.
