Scissors or Rotary Cutter?

Cutting tools are a personal preference, some people prefer to use old fashion scissors while others prefer to use a rotary cutter. Which one do you prefer to use and why?

I use my hands for my non-sewing job and get so scared with the rotary cutter! I prefer the shears and feel like I have excellent control with them!
