Elizabeth Taylor’s 1961 Oscar Dress: Withdrawn?

Without public explanation, Kerry Taylor auctions withdrew the Elizabeth Taylor Oscar dress from the Dec. 6 auction. It was expected to go for £35,000 and £60,000.

Kerry Taylor Auctions has reported that there is an ownership dispute requiring resolution before this dress (and other related items) can be offered at auction. There is hope that the dress will return to auction by mid-2023.
