What’s your favorite sewing gadget?

Do you have a favorite sewing gadget? Besides a good between needle or a sharp, I just added a bamboo pastel sharpener to use to sharpen the edges of tailors chalk. It's manufactured by "Artists Line." Let us know your favorite tool, new or old!

For me it’s sentimental. I’m not usually one for keepsakes, but I have my great grandmothers seam ripper. I’m told that I am just like her, and was actually named after her! It makes seam ripping a little less painful.
