Free Patterns at Clothing Clone Institute


Hey everyone! I recently came across something interesting and wanted to share it with you. Take a look at the "Genuine Unauthorized Clothing Clone Institute," an art project that challenges how we think about fashion, art, and legal stuff like copyright laws.


The artist starts by taking a selfie in a luxury store dressing room. Then, they use this selfie to create a unique garment. But instead of copying the actual clothes, they focus on the selfie image itself, making these dresses that look like sandwich boards, using unique techniques to give them shape.


Her intention is to question the rules around fashion and creativity and start a conversation about how copyright laws can stifle creativity.


While the website can be a little difficult to understand, she does provide free patterns to check out in case you are interested. Link below!
